We need your support to continue our work of advocacy for the music trades and the protection of species that make our work possible.

Our founder members understood the importance of this work and raised prices a tiny amount to contribute that sum each month. For example, $1 per rehair or $1 per invoice is earmarked for the work of the Alliance. They still do, to this day, and ask you to make a monthly donation to become a professional member.

Jake Connolly of Connolly Music showed his commitment with a matching donation project. If one of his customers made a donation to the Alliance, Connolly Music would give a credit towards future purchases equal to the donation up to an aggregate of 10K. Connolly customers were enthusiastic and grateful! How might your company do a similar project?

For every dollar contributed you will receive an Alliance sticker to hand out to customers and friends to show your commitment to sustainability.

Alliance Information Sessions will cover, among other topics: A coaching sessions on

  • The requirements for international travel with musical instruments and bows and what your customers need to know
  • Requirements for importing musical instruments and bows
  • Updates on the situation with pernambuco and importing bows
  • Updates on other developments with CITES and the Lacey act documentation
